Feeling the pressure of a vacation that was nearing completion, certain measures needed to be taken.
As the day waned we tried again.
Sensing my weakened status, this demonic robin began attacking our cabin trying to reach me.
Riding home, this reassuring sign told me that the crazies had taken complete control of the planet.

Re the IPA you mentioned: Years ago, when the internet was in its infancy, I was working at the Reference desk at Western Washington University when a student came up, very frustrated, and said “I’m trying to do research on the internet for my paper and all I can get is porn!” He was using Yahoo, I think, and I asked him what search term he used. You guessed it, Homo Erectus. I suggested a science database might be more useful.
Then there was the poor kid who didn’t understand why a search for “James Bond” only brought up Fiction titles…
